Owning to the global financial crisis, the employment situation of China is extremely grim, and the employment problem of university students has become increasingly prominent, employment pressure increases especially for the ethnic minority graduates. Xinjiang which Located in the northwest of our country is also facing the same employment problem of ethnic minority graduates. The employment problem of Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates influences millions of ethnic minority families, affects the development and progress of national minority, affects the direction of higher educations'upgrade and improvement in Xinjiang, affects Xinjiang's economic development and social stability, so it's necessary to research the employment problem of Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates deeply and seriously. From the perspective of Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates'uniqueness, this thesis is to discuss what the causes are to the difficulty of employment for the ethnic minority graduates in the current employment background, and to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions based on the discuss.Ethnic minority graduates are ethnic minority elites who have a high level of education, they are the indispensable and important human capital to Xinjiangs'economic development. So, from the perspective of human capital theory, analysis and research of Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates' employment problem is been discussed in this thesis on three aspects which are students, universities, government. The primary content is illuminated in the four chapters:The first part explains the reason and significance of the topic, reviews the status of related research, defines related concepts, and introduces the research ideas, methods and related theory.The second part introduced the employment status of Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates, described Xinjiang ethnic minority graduates' employment background and employment trends.The third part, from the perspective of human capital theory, this thesis analyzed the causes to the difficulty of ethnic minority graduates' employment on three aspects which are students, universities, government, and pointed out the main causes to the difficulty of ethnic minority graduates'employment:the human capital insufficiency of ethnic minority graduates, the human capital cultivation blindness of high education in Xinjiang, and the macro-control of human capital by government influences the supply-demand and current direction of ethnic minority graduates. In addition, this part also described the employment characteristics of ethnic minority graduates, showed a unique aspect of ethnic minority graduates'employment.The fourth part summarizes the basic conclusions of this thesis, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to alleviating employment problem of ethnic minority graduates, and puts forward some thinking.
