Employment is the people’s livelihood. Xinjiang as a multi-ethnic region is also a frontierregion of underdeveloped economy. Due to the impact of economic, educational,geographic,cultural values and other factors, the employment rate of minority students inXinjiang is downturn. Ethnic minority university students’ employment relationship betweenhimself and the fundamental interests of the family, the relationship between sound and rapiddevelopment of national education, the relationship between the peoples of licks and common,the relationship between economic and social reform, development and stability. According tostatistics, in2013, normal university graduates in xinjiang the proportion of ethnic minorityhas reached52.95%, study on the minority college students problem of employment inXinjiang, then put forward suggestions to provide the necessary basis for the development ofrelevant policiesIn Xinjiang agricultural university as an example.First,study based on the survey ofethnic minority graduates, analysis the knowledge of ethnic minority graduates employmentconception,employment ability, the policy employment and entrepreneurship and the access toemployment information;Second,by researching the competent department of employment incolleges and universities, to analysis of the education of employment entrepreneurship, thecontrast situation of the flow of ethnic minority and employment of ethnic minority andChinese graduates;Finally investigation to unit of choose and employ persons, to analysis ofmarket requirement and demand for minority students. On this basis, analysis of the factors ofemployment with software SPSS for principal component analysis, variance analysis andcorrelation analysis,to explore the relationship between various factors.In order to optimized the ethnic minority university students’ employment inXinjiang,combined with investigation and analysis and the analysis of influence factors model,put forward suggestions from four levels of individuals, universities, government andemployers. Specifically, first the minority college students should change their concept ofemployment, efforts to improve the employ ability and competitiveness, make full use of newmedia to expand employment channels of access to information; Second,colleges anduniversities should deepen minority talents training mode, innovative education actual effectof employment and entrepreneurship and overall employment services; Third,governmentshould improve the incentives of ethnic minority students’ employment andentrepreneurial,build employment information sharing platform,adjust the structure ofeducation,strengthen the support strength of grass-roots employment, corporate employment,personal entrepreneurial;Fourth,employer should eliminate discriminatory employmentconsciously.
