| Volleyball, one sports item with a high value of health, utility and amusement, which is regarded as the gentle sports, is deeply loved by students in universities. It is often taken as a compulsory or elective course in most universities in China. Volleyball requirement to the learners'skill and physical constitution is too high, and together with the complicated rules always make greenhand confused. This article is based on reference, interview, questionnaire survey and Mathematical statistics method and together with the present condition of volleyball curriculum among Ordinary College in Qingdao, which does research on teaching condition, curriculum arrangement and conducting form, etc. The results indicate:1. The curriculum course is only about basic technique among Ordinary Colleges in Qingdao. During the course, students have strong appetency for studying volleyball techniques, but have little initiative in studying theories and concerned social ability embodied in volleyball.2. Behavior study is the main method in teaching volleyball. They can master volleyball techniques by observing, imitating and practicing. They have clear aim, appropriate attitude and can rearrange and compose study schedule and methods further, but not enough preparation.3. Students can grasp the volleyball skill gradually which is on basis of primary foundation. Finally, they should participate in the volleyball competition by means of skill together with rules and strategy. About92%students in universities of Qingdao can master volleyball techniques after32learning period, but their technique proficiency should be enhanced furthermore.4. Among all the concerning teaching conditions, teaching hardware, study assessments, subject types and arrangement of class time have great influence on volleyball study; Students are normally satisfied with the current three aspects on teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching arrangements.In accordance with research, we should promote the current teaching condition so that we can improve students'efficiency and help them grasp the more comprehensive volleyball skill. Therefore, we should propose schedule on how to improve curriculum content, study method and strategy as well as teaching condition. Following:1. Teachers should strengthen the guidance for students and help them pay more attention to the volleyball knowledge; meanwhile, they should also make students be awareness of importance of volleyball knowledge and social abilities.2. Students should use some efficient and useful study methods based on their current situations, and make use all sorts of study methods, such as action study, exploring study, studying in groups and so on so that they can shorten the time of mastering a kind of volleyball technique. In that case, they can be involved in learning and mastering volleyball skill and more comprehensive skill3. Students should make enough preparations on study so that they can consider an appropriate object, work out a proper plan and choose an effective learning strategy on basis of objective assessment of their own abilities. Students should maintain correct attitudes, enthusiasm and the initiative towards learning; besides, they should also develop their own study viewpoint and habit so that they could be engaged in life-long sports.4. Academic Department should strength the volleyball curriculum on how to improve teaching conditions. For example, purchasing more equipments, ensuring enough class time(over32class time) and multiplex teaching contents, giving opportunities for teachers to make an advanced study and communicate to improve their teaching capabilities. In a word, the department should spare no effort to change the current obsolete and sole teaching method. |
