As higher education changes from elite education to mass education, difficult employment of students is becoming increasingly prominent, especially the phenomenon that female college graduates are in a disadvantaged position when they are in job hunting. For female graduates, it is not just a simple employment problem; it also includes gender discrimination in labor market. The employment of female college graduates is of concern to realization of equality of men and women in our country, moreover, it relates to the issue proposed by CPC and our government that if we can successfully build a harmonious society. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze the problems of difficult job hunting for female college graduates and to actively explore solutions to these problems. By looking through large number of documentations, the author collates related theories of difficult female student job hunting, and proposes creative hypothesis at the process of preliminary study. Then the author researches the actual graduate employment situation at present through questionnaire. Finally, the factors that influence female. graduates'job hunting are analyzed by using of related sociology knowledge and theories, to reveal the key factor that effect female gradate employment difficulties-the policy factor, and the author proposes reasonable ways to relieve the female employment problem from the angle of social policy environment.The conclusion of this paper shows the policy reasons of female graduate employment difficulties. First of all, the related policies, laws and regulations are not perfect; national labor and social security content is not definite, and its operability is unsatisfactory; these are the leading cause of female graduate employment difficulties. Secondly, the actual implementation of policy in labor market results in serious impact on the employment of female graduates. And lastly, no such a law and regulation of specifically prohibit discrimination has been introduced in China at present. There is not a special law to give sanction and solution on employment discrimination. And about the phenomenon of gender discrimination, the government has not set up a special organization to supervise it. There is no truly improvement for the problem of difficult job hunting for female graduates. The above factors form the policy problem of employment difficulties for female graduates.In according with the factors mentioned above, the paper tries to propose the solution of female graduate employment difficulties from the angle of social policy.
