With the gradual transformation of Chinese society, and sustainable increase of recruit admitted into high education, as well as the change of employment mechanism for college graduates, the problem of employment for college graduates is becoming more and more serious, especially for the ethnic minority graduates. How to tackle and solve the problem has become the highly focus of CCP, Chinese government, educational research institution and society.This thesis is based on the relative statistics of 2004 to 2006 and takes ethnic minority graduates of 2007 from three typical high education teaching colleges in Xinjing as the research objective and adopts the methodology of literature, questionnaire and interview to analyze the issue through various dimensions such as employment preparation and employment idea etc. The purpose is to explore the reason of this problem. On the basis of exploration to put forward the countermeasures and suggestions from different aspects of government, high education college and graduates themselves.1. The government should intensify the support for the enterprise of high education for ethnic groups in Xinjiang, rapidly develop the regional economy and increase the opportunity of employment.2. Colleges and universities should extend and adjust the specialties, enhance the Chinese teaching capability of ethnic teachers and the employment guidance for graduates.3. Ethnic minority students should improve their own comprehensive quality, change their traditional mind and face the social reality actively.
