| The adult college students are a very important group, and also a special and complex one. At present, major colleges and universities are relatively weak in the cultivation of the self-guided career planning ability of the adult students, which is necessary to be improved. In order to improve their abilities to guide themselves more effectively and more scientifically, we should improve the self-guided capability of the adult college students on the career planning.In this paper, the adult College students of the Department of Chinese in Sichuan Normal University are used as a survey sample. They were conducted a questionnaire survey and a series of interviews. Following five aspects are analyzed: self-cognitive abilities, job environment analysis, ability to determine career goals, career planning capacity, feedback and correction capabilities. According to the results of the survey and interviews, reasons behind the phenomena are analyzed and illustrated from the following four points: the traditional education system, social values, university management, and individual awareness of the students. Based on the analysis of the status quo and its causes,the paper put forward relevant suggestions and training strategies on the self-guided capability of the adult college students on the career planning. |
