Research On The Effect Factors And Countermeasures For Improving Career Planning Capacity Of Secondary Vocational Students

The Career Planning Capacity plays a key role in the future development of Secondary vocational students. As a special group, having certain Career Planning Capacity is much more important for their future development than before. Researching on secondary vocational students’ Career Planning Capacity is not only benefit to the career planning education theory system of our country, but also benefit to the students’ sustainable development all the lifetime. To understand the problems of Secondary vocational career planning education and the present development situation of students’ Career Planning Capacity. I choose the survey methods, such as questionnaire survey method, interview method, literature analysis method and comparative analysis method. Then exploring the effect factors of the Career Planning Capacity of the Secondary vocational students in order to put forward the countermeasures to promote their Career Planning Capacity.Subjects were 792 students from three Secondary vocational and technical school from Kaifeng City. The results show this:1. The effect factors scale of Secondary vocational school students’ Career Planning Capacity include social environment factors, professional environment and development factors, Parents’ wishes and support factors, family status factors, school factors, Personal knowledge and ability factors and social and cultural factors.2. Same as the university students’ Career Planning Capacity score, the score of Secondary vocational students’ Career Planning Capacity is also 2.79 points, of which the highest score is self cognitive ability, the lowest score is the career planning consciousness.3. The Secondary vocational students’ Career Planning Capacity is significant different between gender, region, whether or not student leader, whether or not the Only Child and grade. Then the boys’ score of Career Planning Capacity is significant higher than the girls, the urban students’ score of Career Planning Capacity is significant higher than the rural students, the students leaders’ score of Career Planning Capacity is significant higher than the students who are not, the students of grade two and grade three is significant higher than the students of grade one and the students’ Career Planning Capacity is not significant between grade two and grade three. In other words, the higher of Secondary vocational students’ grade, the possibility of the Career Planning Capacity, Career Exploration Capacity, Career Decision Capacity and Career Action and Monitoring Capacity will be higher.4. The more better educated of the Secondary vocational students’ parents, the possibility of the Career Planning Capacity, Career Exploration Capacity and Career Decision Capacity will be higher.Based on the problems of career planning education and the effect factors of Secondary vocational education students Career Planning Capacity, I put forward to the countermeasures from four aspects, such as individual, family, school and society. On the individual aspect, I put forward to the countermeasures, such as Secondary vocational school students should seek career planning help from others actively, have occupation career self-management and strive to learn professional skills. On the family aspect, I suggest that parents should give children more attention and communication. On the school aspect, I hope that systematic and scientific career planning education be established and career education teachers should concern more care on the student groups whose Career Planning Capacity are weak. On the social aspect, I put forward to the countermeasures,such as the government not only should strengthen the legislation of occupation career planning education, but also should introduce or develop the occupation career planning evaluation system..meanwhile, we should promote the formation of social atmosphere of "not only above Degree Certificate, but also by Capacity" to improve the Career Planning Capacity of Secondary vocational students on the whole.
