We entered the information age of "knowledge explosion ", the shortcomings of class teaching has become increasingly prominent. Many university students lose job as soon as graduating. Apart from teaching in the classroom, as a junior high school information technology teacher, the author has done a series of exploration and practice on how to cultivate the ability of students, develop their expertise and enhance their core competitiveness.Class Teaching has ignored the individual differences of students, prevented the development of the students'personality, hobbies and expertise. This is not suitable for students'subjective play. The author will gather the students who have the same interest on information technology to form interest groups, and use the spare time to carry out group activities of various forms, with different contents of teaching.In the information technology group activities, students develop the personality, hobbies and expertise nurtured. After ten years of exploration and practice, the subject of a large number of students able to play, and achieved skills. Some students will also be interesting to translate into fun, and fun to become the inclination. This has formed a number of success cases. The author is also working with students in both teaching and learning in with the students progress. Now this paper will share exploration and results from information group activities with you.
