With the development of information technology and the coming of informationage, people should pay attention to information literacy. From Gardener's multipleintelligences to evolutionary psychology, the latent information literacy including howto searching for massage, estimating massage, choosing massage, using massage hasemerged in series theories.Refering to the literature, the subject of the domestic research for "informationliteracy" is mainly concentrated in the population of students and teachers, at present. Incontrast the research for the out-of-school population is deficiency and the population ofgrown countrymen as subject of the research is hardly involved. on the basis of priorstudy, this thesis is to research the information literacy choosing grown countrymen assubject by survey method. At last will give educational countermeasure according to theresults of the research.In order to make the thesis more valuable, the reseach has three parts. Part one istheoretical investigation, part two is survey research and part three is investigations foreducational countermeasure.In the part of theoretical investigation, firstly defines the "information literacy" byanalysing prior research. Here the defination of the "information literacy" includingthree dimensions, that's information consciousness, information ability and informationCultivation. At the same time discusses the feasibility of the research on the basis ofsubject theories such as multiple intelligences, evolutionary psychology, techniques forlocalization research and the mathods of constructivism. Further research will beexpanded on the basis of this part.Fundamental research of the survey research is carried out by interviewing methodand questionnaire method. Firstly compiles items for interviewing research according tothe theoretical investigation. Then has interviews with cubjects. Secondly compilesitems for predetermined questionnaire according to the results of interviewing research and carry out exploratory factor analysis to optimize the final questionnaire. Thirdlyuses the final questionnaire to do the research.In order to enhance external validity of the research, the study will carry outextended research on the basis of fundamental research. Compiles new items forextended interviewing according to the results of questionnaire research to get moredata.Part three is giving feasible educational countermeasure on the basis of part oneand part two. The educational countermeasure including educational objective,educational content, educational mode and educational support. the chief purpose is tolet people get the ability of self-education so they can realize their full potential throughin the information environment. According to the educational objective, the educationalcontent will be compiled on the result of the investigation and the form of educationwill be mainly in a way of practice. It's important to combine more resources to supportbetter results.The first deficiency of the research is the lack of experimental study to find out theeffects of the educational countermeasure.
