The construction of a new socialist countryside put forward a series of new requirements of development to the rural adult education, let it face severe challenges. At present, our country's rural adult education plays an important role in the new rural construction, but there are still some own problems to be solved, this leads to adult education in rural areas can not adapt to the changing rural and its service functions in the construction of new rural is also greatly reduced, the overall development of the situation is worrying.Analyze the characteristics and development status of rural adult education, can find that there are contradictions and shortcomings in many respects of the rural adult education and it can not adapt to the development requirements of new rural construction. Improve all levels of government leadership, the majority of adult educators and farmers' awareness on the importance of adult education in rural areas, interpretate the new requirements of the new rural construction put forward to the rural adult education, are necessary conditions to accelerate the process of China's new rural construction, we should clear the responsibility and historic mission of the rural adult education and propose appropriate reform and development strategies, take effective measures, ensure the rural adult education develop healthily and progressively, promote it better to provide quality services for the new rural construction, and play its due role for the harmonious development of the rural socio-economic civilization, political civilization. Generally speaking, the paper is divided into five parts:Part I:"Introduction". First, analsize the source, purpose and significance of this research, sketch on domestic and international research status of the rural adult education broadly, lead to the basic guiding ideology, objectives and main content of this thesis. Finally, introduce the basic ideas, the main methods and innovations of this study.Part II:"Our country's rural adult education overview. Make a brief summary of the adult education's theoretical basis, Summarize the characteristics of our country's rural adult education on this basis. Meanwhile, described the development status of China's rural adult education, find out the problems and shortcomings.Part III:"The construction of a new socialist countryside put forward some requirements of development to the rural adult education." Mainly starting from the direction of economic construction, political construction, cultural construction and social development, legal construction, analyze the series of new requirements of development which the new rural construction proposed; it put forward many challenges to rural adult education and also has brought unprecedented opportunities and development space for rural adult education at the same time.Part Ⅳ:"the research of the strategies on rural adult education in the new rural development." Faced with a series of new requirements for the construction of a new socialist countryside put forward to the rural adult education, In order to provide a realistic strategy for new rural construction, and then provide continued momentum for the rapid development of our country's rural adult education, I made a number of reform strategies on the future direction of development of the rural adult education, Mainly include the following:First, Strengthen self-construction of adult education in rural areas, to make it adapt to the new rural development needs; second, adult education in rural areas must have a clear target to train new farmers as their responsibility; third, adult education in rural areas should shoulder the historic mission, strengthening skill training for farmers; forth, strengthen the construction of rural communities, develop the rural communities vigorously, build a system of lifelong education in rural areas and learning rural areas actively.The last part:"Conclusion." A brief summary of this research project, described the status and value of the author's research in the rural adult education research areas and the deficiencies of this study, then outlook on the future of adult education research.These are the main content of the paper to be discussed. Above in all,this article based on the reality of the development of new rural construction, commence around the rural adult education in its own developmental characteristics and the status,analysize the problems and deficiencies of the adult education in rural areas, focus on described the mission of rural adult education in the new era shouldered and put forward relevant countermeasures, in order to promote the deepen development of adult education in rural areas and new rural construction.
