| From the view of the relationship between the education and rural economic development andon the basis of the actual situation, this paper holds that higher education going to rural areas is thebasic power to promote the development of rural economy. In China, the proportion of the primaryindustry is much higher than that in other countries with the same income level, but its role to thenational economy growth decreased gradually. The mode of agriculture operation in our country ismainly extensive, which has low agricultural technology content, agricultural science and lesstechnology development in agriculture, weak transmission of information on agricultural scienceand technology, and weak support of technological progress to agricultural support.In order to achieve rapid development, higher education should keep up with the era. Givingpriority to the development of the rural economy and solving the problems concerning peasants,agriculture will be the focus in the period in China. Therefore, universities should seize theopportunity to go to the countryside, bring new technology to rural areas, improve the farmers'ability of mastering and using new technology, to promote the rural economic development andpioneer a new development space. Developing higher schools is the trend and result of thereorganization of national education resources, and the top-down spread of existing educationresources, which is one content of development strategy of higher education diversificationdevelopment and the layout structure improvement.Firstly, this paper introduces the background, realistic significance, the relevant theory ofdomestic and foreign, and model. Secondly, it analyses the overall course and the present situationcharacteristics of our country's higher education services to rural economy. And then it deeplydissects the obstacles in the process of the higher education serving rural economy. Finally, frommultiple levels of the government, universities, society and farmers, this article proposes thecountermeasures and suggestions of solving the problem of higher education serving the ruraleconomy during the development process. |
