With the rapid development of higher vocational education in China, professional development of higher vocational teachers gradually attracts scholars'attention and research. As the participants and implementers of higher vocational education,the teachers are the key factor affecting the quality of vocational education.However,lack of a mature system of higher vocational teachers'professional development, the higher vocational teachers' professional development status quo is not optimistic.Researchers have proposed several approaches to promote the higher vocational teachers' professional development in the existing theoretical studies. Practice of higher vocational education techers' curriculum resource development,taking roots among the teachers' education and instruction practice and contributing to realize higher vocational education curriculum reform, may be considered as an effective approach.Thesis mainly consists of three parts:Part one:this part is about the contents and basic approaches of higher vocational education teachers' professional development.The contents of higher vocational education teachers' professional development contains professional knowledge structure and professional ability structure.The former consists of essence knowledge, practical knowledge and conditional knowledge;the latter consists of teaching ability,research ability,practice ability,self-study ability, etc.Professional affection,which contains professional beliefs and professional sentiments,is also an important part of the contents of higher vocational education teachers'professional development.The basic approaches can be divided into the following five types:formal training,reflection of teaching practice,teacher cooperation,educational research and teacher assessment.The five approaches can promote the higher vocational teachers' professional development to some extend,but they have deficiency, which provides possibility for the higher vocational education teachers to choose the way of curriculum resource development.Part two:this part focuses on the significance of curriculum resource development to the higher vocational education teachers'professional development.Firstly,the paper discusses the meaning of curriculum resource development in higher vocational education and basic process of higher vocational education teachers to develop curriculum resource,theoretically.Then,by the way of interview investigation,it analyses the practice of curriculum resource development of a higher vocational education teacher.Finally, the thesis carries on a detailed analysis of the promotion of curriculum resource development to the higher vocational education teachers' professional development.Part three:it researches on the strategies for higher vocational education teachers' professional development by developing curriculum resource.First,the teachers should follow the principles of occupation,pertinence,development,etc.Second,the teachers should choose suitable approaches to development curriculum resource,based on analyzing the characteristics of students,teachers and colleges, and analyzing the social demands.Last,effective measures should be independently adopted by teachers,colleges and society.The teachers should set up right curriculum resource notion and participate curriculum resource development practice;the colleges should respect for the right and achievements of developing curriculum resource of teachers;for the society, patriarches and enterprises should support the teachers to develop curriculum resources from broad society.
