The Ministry of Education published the new Curriculum Standards, which makes the latest requirements on the teaching reform of Senior History Subject. New teaching books, which are matched with the new Curriculum Standards, are produced based on the initiation. This essay targets at senior teaching books, involves teaching theory and practice and applies the method of case study. Three aspects"teaching, learning and testing"are discussed in the essay. Correspondingly, the construction of feelings and values for students in teaching, the relation between the structure of teaching books and teaching practice, and the relation between new teaching books and College Entrance Exams are emphasized. The author hopes that all the teachers of history in senior high will respond actively to the essay so that the teaching reform of Senior History Subject can be enhanced.
