A bright spot in the new round of high school history curriculum reform is an elective course setting. History of elective courses for students to choose learning content, can further stimulate students interest in learning, and promote the development of individual students, to broaden the students’ vision of history. It is not a required course of foil, more is not a vassal. Of course, elective curriculum design is important, but to achieve the desired objectives, the key depends on the implementation of. How to implement the new curriculum standards of high school history in the teaching of elective courses, which on one hand can promote the all-round development of students, on the other hand make history teaching style diversity, at the same time, to take effective strategies in the elective module teaching problems, is a worthy of our study.This paper attempts to senior high school history to the history of a major reform of elective I "review" module ninth unit" Wu Xu reform" as an example, to talk about the current situation of history elective teaching.
