| Since the fundamental goal of history classes' curriculum reform in senior high school is to educate people and develop students in all-round way, then what we should do to achieve this goal in teaching practice under the circumstance of new curriculum reform? This thesis is intended to discuss the problems above from the perspective of strengthening the connection between history teaching and practical life, which consists of real life, students'individual life, individual experience as well as students'individual mind characteristics. The reasons are as follows : (1) A necessity of life-returning in history lessons. By strengthening the connection between history teaching and practical life, a new teaching environment which is open , vigorous and enthusiastic will be built on the old one which used to isolated from life and pedestrian. This will meet the requirements of the essence of education and help to promote students'all-round development. (2) A necessity of teacher's adapting to new teaching contents. Teaching contents serve as the way to realize teaching conception , teaching objectives and also the requirements to organize teaching materials. Therefore we must select and organize those teaching contents which are in strict accordance with features of history lessons. That is to say they must be fundamental and possess those characteristics of certain periods in history. In order to achieve this aim , it is of importance for the teacher to relate the teaching contents to what is happening in real life. (3)A necessity of adapting to the change of student's way of learning. Traditional history learning is passive learning, and it fails to activate Sis's interests not to mention stimulate Sis's motivation. So traditional practice is quite against the requirements of new curriculum reform, so students'learning habits must be changed. However if we connect the teaching contents and teaching methods closely with students'life experience, then students'interests as well as their intuitive to learn will be greatly promoted. That means a shift from"I have to learn"to"I want to learn"will be formed in students'mind and will change students'way of learning in the end.What teachers should do to closely related history teaching to real life in practice under the circumstance of new curriculum reform? Theoretically speaking, (1) The teacher should update their conception of what is education, and adopt new views of teaching ,teachers and students. (2) the teacher should be professional in his or her subject and have the ability to teach and educate students well. (3) the teacher should have remarkable insight into the nature and features of history lessons.(4)the teacher should make sure what are the aims and methods of relating teaching history to practical life. From the perspective of teaching designing , the teachers should design their lessons from both two aspects of history teaching and what are their use in daily life, specifically about how to design the principle, teaching view, teaching procedure, and how to put them into real effect. Teaching design is a bridge to turn teaching theory into teaching practice. Without designing scientifically, the idea of strengthening the relationship between teaching and life is none but utopia.Above all, the idea of strengthening the tie between history lessons and life experience is teaching exploration under the circumstance of new curriculum reform. It corresponds with the curricular reform, which helps to realize the function of education and promote Ss'full-around development in the long run. Therefore, in future history teaching, we must strengthen the connection between history teaching and life experience, and make them become standard history lessons. This idea will become an effective way to enrich history lessons and achieve those teaching objectives set in new curriculum reform. |
