Chinese traditional culture often refers to a grand Classical cultural system included in the ancient Chinese philosophy, ethics, literature, art, science and technology etc. Extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture is essence of civilization and wisdom of the Chinese nation of thousands of years, are the most precious legacy left to our future generations. Inheritance and preservation excellent traditional culture are an important task for secondary education ,which can help the students to cultivate their identity of national culture and national self-confidence, to establish the idea of patriotism, enhance the humanities and the scientific spirit, developing a healthy share of the aesthetic taste, etc. History subject plays an important role in the promotion of excellent traditional cultural heritage, the traditional cultural content always has been an important part of middle school history textbook. Of course, as time changes, the contents of the traditional culture are always changing in the content selection, system planning, teaching methods etc. Especially in the history curriculum reform in the new century, with the boom in traditional culture and the rise of cultural status, the traditional culture teaching at some aspects of the above have great changes. Learning those changes in history teaching, especially since the new changes in curriculum reform has a great significance for us to better understand and grasp traditional culture education of secondary school phase.The new high school history curriculum and textbook reform, enhance the status of the traditional culture teaching Since 2004, the effectiveness of the traditional Cultural history teaching was improved through the changes in the aspect of the structure, system, content. However, a long time, the traditional culture history of teaching has been the most difficult part of the whole high school history curriculum with complex, abstract content, a lot of specialized knowledge, difficult to explain. After the reform of new history curriculum new contradictions and problems emerged with fragmented content, lack of obvious characteristics of History subject, duplicating as middle school teaching materials. In a lot of the practice of actual teaching, many teachers do not give the lecture the taste of traditional culture, nor the history of taste, making history teaching stay at a very superficial level, the dry and abstract teaching has reduced the interest in studying cultural history, affecting the study results. In this paper, by the contrast between the old and the new curriculum standards and contrast between different versions of textbooks, Confirmed that the new cultural history teaching Change and progress that the curriculum from elective to compulsory, Structure from the type of General History to type of the topic, Knowledge points from scattered to concentrated, the contents from the cover to selected, textbooks from a single version to multiple versions. The paper made a number of specific principles and methods of teaching such as strengthening the contact between traditional cultural with the realities of life; analyzing political and economic background behind the idea of cultural; properly balancing the relations between the historical materials and theory, sorting out traditional cultural development clues, refining the basic spirit of the Chinese culture; exploring the law of cultural development, Making the Teaching show both the charm of traditional culture, and distinguishing of feature historical subjects .Those suggestions have practical significance for history teachers to better teaching, for high school students to better study excellent Chinese traditional culture heritage.
