Industrial Chain Vertical Restraints' Research Of Mobile Phone Operating System Based On Mobile Internet

With the maturity of 3G communications technology and the development of mobile Internet, cell phones those can only make voice calls, send and receive SMS, MMS have become obsolete. Smart phones that can provide kinds of information services are more popular. Smartphone market is becoming competitive, as the core of Smartphone, mobile phone operating system (OS) automatically has become a means of attracting users for companies. The competition of mobile phone OS has intensified and the continuous rising of new forces making the market ranking renew.Compared to developed countries, our software industry is still not that advanced. Mobile phone OS is a good opportunity for the development of our software industry. By analyzing the current development of mainstream mobile phone OS, we can clearly know the changes of the market structure, then conclude the advantages and challenges of our mobile phone OS and provide advice for the development of our own OS.In this paper we describe the evolution of mobile communications industry first, then propose a new mobile communication industry chain structure in mobile Internet era. After that, we analyze several major mobile phone OS in international and domestic market from a perspective of industry chain. Differently from foreign operators, our operators are more capable on the domestic market to research and develop our own mobile phone OS. Finally, according to the development of our own mobile phone OS, we propose some policy recommendations for further development.
