Land is the fundation of human lives, the city is the most basic carrier of human production and lives. With the economic and social development, urbanization progress has been accelerating, more and more people flooded into cities, make the emerged land resource turn to a tenser situation.The land price is the core channel of ordered running land market, the floor area ratio is one of the significant indicators of building planning and the strength of land using. The research on the interrelationship between residential floor area ratio and land price become very important. Its significance not only confined to put forward how to sell the land reasonably, how to plan the city building land scientifically, use of urban land, and also explores problems from both breadth and depth sides, such as: how to optimize the urban land using structure, enhance the ratio of land using, use the city land in a reasonable, intensive, economical way.This paper was base on the research of the influence between domestic plus foreign relevant land price, and floor area ratio,141 residential sample points in Changsha city were selected as examples, researched on the interrelationship between urban residential floor area ratio and land price. Related theory such as land economics and the sampling of statistical analysis were applied in this paper. Adopted the basic prices of urban land correction method to calculate sample point value, draw the following conclusions:the interrelationship between the floor area ratio and land price grow up with the degree of flourishing of location; once it's far away from the city center, the land price would not affected by the floor area ratio, the interrelationship between them become weak, even fall to the bottom. With the reducing of the land degree, the interrelationship between the floor area ratio and land price become lower, so does the floor area ratio. Via the analysis and researches, this essay came up with the measures about how to perform the rules of floor area ratio and urban land price to promote land using efficiently and economically.
