Enhance The Competitiveness Of Rice Industry In Sichuan Province

Sichuan has more than 8,000 million people as the western region agricultural province, rice has always been the most important staple food, it is essential to ensure its own food security. Sichuan is the eight major grain-producing provinces. Rice is the main food crops in Sichuan. Sichuan food security in rice production is the top priority, and also the income of the farmers in Sichuan Province is currently one of the main components. Therefore, whether from the perspective of ensuring national food security, or from increasing the income of farmers to solve the "three rural" issue of view, to further improve the competitiveness of rice industry in Sichuan Province, stronger and excellent rice industry are of great significance.This article is divided into five parts. The first part describes in detail the background and significance of this study, the second part is more specific overview of the domestic rice production, consumption and trade of the relevant literature review, and the strength of this foundation and core concepts defined.
