A Study On The Realization Of New Path Of Industrialization With Chinese Characteristics

The leader group of Communist Party of China takes full consideration of the development of industry and the current situation in China, In the report of the Fifth Plenary Session of 15th CPC Central committee, It first proposed a strategy of using IT to propel industrialization, gave full play to our advantages, and realized the great-leap-forward development of social productivity. Then in the Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC), the Communist Party of China pointed out:it is, therefore, necessary to persist in using IT to propel industrialization, which will, in turn, stimulate IT application, blazing a new trail to industrialization featuring high scientific and technological content, good economic returns, low resources consumption, little environmental pollution and a full display of advantages in human resources. President Hu jintao in the report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) points out: we must keep to the new path of industrialization with Chinese characteristics, pursue the policy of boosting domestic demand, particularly consumer demand, and propel three transitions in the mode of economic growth:the transition from relying mainly on investment and export to relying on a well coordinated combination of consumption, investment and export, the transition from secondary industry serving as the major driving force to primary, secondary and tertiary industries jointly driving economic growth, and the transition from relying heavily on increased consumption of material resources to relying mainly on advances in science and technology, improvement in the quality of the workforce and innovation in management. It is difficult to imagine that realize the process of industrialization in a populously poor country from putting forward the concept of new path of industrialization to how to realize the process. Therefore, exploring differences between the path of industrialization in China and the road of industrialization in western countries, walking a road of new path of industrialization of socialism with the Chinese characteristics is accord with the situation of China, also is the inevitable requirement to realization of the sound and rapid growth of the economy.The first chapter of this paper elaborates the connotation of industrialization, and combs the theory of new path of industrialization according to domestic, foreign scholars and the leadership of Communist Party; the'second chapter briefly introduced the development process of industrialization before and after reform and opening up in China. We could take the experience of abroad developed countries by studying and comparing their path of industrialization. The third chapter deeply researches the new path of industrialization with Chinese characteristics. Following the guidance of the Scientific Outlook on Development, and based on the true industrialization situation in our country, discusses the new path of industrialization with Chinese characteristics. The fourth chapter discusses about the significance of the selection of the new path industrialization with Chinese characteristic. Due to the socialist industrialization and economic reform is inseparable, so the theory of industrialization various periods has difference emphases. However, the common goal of all theories is to achieve the socialism industrialization and improve socialist economic system. Therefore, the path of industrialization with Chinese characteristics is adapted to the Chinese development, it has theoretical value for realizing Chinese harmonious socialist society.
