The Study Of Rural Labor Transfer In China On The View Of Agriculture Technology Developing

Rural labor transfer is an important program for our country's industrialization and modernization which is also a main way to solve issues of agriculture, farmers and rural area and build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Many scholars domestic have made deep researches in wide range from the background, characters of peasant class, industrial relation and binds and impediments rural labor transfer faces. This article tries to investigate the influence of advance of agricultural technology to our country's rural labor transfer from the aspect of agricultural technology development. On this basis this article raises some policy suggestions on agricultural technology development which is suitable to rural labor transfer.The research idea of this article goes as follows:first, explore current situation of our country's rural labor transfer and list different methods of calculation to count the number of surplus-labors in rural through defining related concepts of rural labor transfer. Then it gives some qualitative analysis to the influence on our country's rural labor transfer brought by factors as policy, system,market and human capital. After that, it constructs a model of theory analysis on the influence of agricultural technology development to rural labor transfer with Lews'classical duality theory. On the basis of qualitative analysis, this model builds some indexes which reflect rural labor transfer and agricultural technology development and through regression analysis with related data of our country over these years get the influence direction and degree of agricultural technology development on behalf of advance on mechanical technology and biochemical technology to our country's rural labor transfer. At last, this article puts forward some policy suggestions on agricultural technology development which is suitable to rural labor transfer.The possible originality innovation of this article:(1) During the analysis of some theories of this article, it constructs a theory analysis model of agricultural technology development on rural labor transfer and gets a conclusion that the number of rural labor transfer is a increasing function of agricultural technology development and agricultural technology development is a positive driving force in the process of rural labor transfer. (2) In the analysis of demonstration, it measures the influence direction and degree of mechanical technology and biochemical technology to our country's rural labor transfer in detail and gets some conclusions as follows:the improve of total power of agricultural machinery and one of biochemical agricultural technology developments as increasing use level of fertilizer can make more rural labors transfer to the secondary and tertiary industries in the city, which act as a driving force in the transfer of rural labor; the influence index of effective irrigation areas, plastic sheeting for agricultural purposes as well as agricultural chemicals which represent the development of biochemical agricultural technology is negative. It means biochemical agricultural technology development slows down the pace of rural labors non-agricultural transformation as a reaction thrust. Generally speaking, biochemical agricultural technology development has a deeper influence to rural labor transfer than mechanical technology development. In present, mechanical technology is lack of driving force to our country's rural labor transfer and the substitution effect of it to rural labor is not obvious while biochemical agricultural technology development mainly acts as a reaction thrust.
