This thesis takes R Academe as an example to probe into the situation of the transition of state-owned engineering enterprises and the compensation system with substantial evidence and discusses how to devise suitable salary system for state-owned engineering enterprises confronted with proprietary transforming.The compensation among the modern enterprise is actually the competition of human resources, so human resources have become the key factor which helps enterprises to win. How to carry out an efficient compensation system so as to optimize the composing of the employee, to keep the talented person, and to activate the employees, has become the instant problem of state-owned engineering corporation.Firstly the thesis takes R Academe as an example to introduce the basic theory about compensation and give a expatiation on main content of each exponent of compensation system. Firstly, establishing salary view and select compensation system; secondly, carry through position analysis and position estimate; thirdly investigate compensation; fourthly ascertain compensation level and compensation structure, In the last part of this paper, there are summing-ups and appraisal of the new compensation system, and the suggestions about how to put the new compensation system in practice.After the reform of the R Academe institute from state department to a market corporation, the current compensation system is no longer adaptable to the development of the corporation. There is urgent need to reform the compensation system. In this paper, the authors analyses the current situation of R Academe and the former compensation system with the positive way. A new compensation system is proved to be efficient and practical. As prolong, the new system would be the foundation of the reformation of R Academe. Meanwhile, it has provided the idea and the method for the state-owned engineering corporation to transit from state department to a market corporation. It makes great sense for state-owned engineering enterprises to retain the human resources, to improve the work efficiency and to develop for the long-term.
