The problems for the compensation management in private manufacturing enterprise salary management system can be classified mainly as that the strategic goal is not clear, the salary management failed to combine skillfully with development strategy of the enterprise, and it is difficult for the salary management to promote the fulfillment of enterprise strategy. In the aspect of salary management,the sense of management is weak. The current criteria of compensation management mainly depends on the decisions made by the firm leaders based on their experience.It is hard for them to make a set of scientific and feasible methods for salary management system. The designing of salary structure cannot reflect the compensation incentive and the proportion of direct compensation is large. It is easy to have the problems of unequal pay for equal work, leading seriously to dampened enthusiasm of the staff. The lack of scientific evaluation criteria in work value, is difficult to measure the contribution degree of the working staff, and reach the intended incentive effect. The set of salary system has often been used for a long time, and the salary system is not adjusted timely with the changes of social environment in an effective manner. Nowadays many private manufacturing enterprises have not set up a complete salary management system. As a practical work, we must optimize the design of salary management system of multi-factors on enterprise organization structure, development strategy, corporate culture, job matching, the financial situation of enterprises and other consideration.This thesis, based on the related theories of compensation management embarks, researches on the following aspects on the basis of combining previous study: the first chapter is a general introduction on the research situation domestic and abroad in detail to identify the methods and the content. The second chapter defines related concepts, compensation management theory of non-state owned enterprises in manufacturing industry, provides the theoretic support for the later research. The third chapter analyzes the current situation of compensation management in non-state owned manufacturing enterprises, combining with the actual practice on the optimization research. The fourth chapter is a case study, based on the optimization design for the problems existed in salary management liability in SG Co. Limited. The last part is the conclusion and prospect.The innovation point of this thesis is mainly manifested in the Innovation of research object and data source, the selection of private manufacturing enterprises as the research object, the combination with the actual data of compensation management in SG Co. Ltd. to optimize the design of the salary management of the enterprises. And the proposals of corresponding countermeasures and measures based on the characteristics of the enterprises, have certain practical significance.
