The construction of rural practical talents is of great significance to China's rural economy, and also an essential driving force to the new rural construction. As farmers are the main power to build the new socialist countryside, the construction of rural practical talents will bring them a huge benefit. Meanwhile, it is necessary for them to participate in. Therefore, the construction of rural practical talents aims at training a large group of practical talents. Based on the rural practical talents training, this thesis has conducted lots of research:The general features of farmers participating practical talents training were analyzed, following two perspectives:the behavioral features of farmers participating practical talents training and the assessment of farmers after having participated practical talents training. The Probit model was used to analyze the willingness and influential factors of farmers participating practical talents training. And then, further analysis was carried out on those who are willing to participate in. The farmer's preference and its cause were also researched. Eventually, case study were introduced to compare and analyze the understanding and assessment of current practical talents training from organizers who offer the training and farmers participating in. Conclusions and political suggestion were as follows:Conclusions:1. farmers are very active to participate in practical talents training. Influential factors are various, but the options for farmers choosing training contents are less; The preference tends to uniform, most of them preferring planting, breeding and skill obtaining.2. Personal characteristics are significant influential to training content choose, in terms of the subjects'age, gender, healthy status, education level, working experience and its types and training experiences.3. The feature of family background also affects farmers choosing training contents; the proportion of working individuals in family influences their willingness to participate in training; the per capita farming land and the proportion of migrant workers in family has certain influence on farmers'preference for training.4. Farmers caring degree on practical talents training affects their option for training contents, while their caring degree on choosing training contents decides their willingness.5. The understanding of farmers on practical talents training determines their willingness to participate in. Farmers believe that only training facilitating their income or their own competence will they choose.Political suggestion:encourage the training objects young; attract more rural young talents; promote farmers'conscience on training and their initiatives; make training contents diversify to meet various people's needs; intensify training propaganda; try to equalize training opportunity; focus on training quality and effects; construct training assessment system to monitor real time needs.
