For effectively promoting regional economic growth and maintain regional competitiveness, we need analysis on the reasonable of the industrial structure, timely adjust, make regional industrial structure of maintaining advanced, adapt to the requirements of the development of productivity.Based on the horizontal and longitudinal analysis of the three industries of Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone, the industrial structure is studied and pertinence tactics of adjustment and optimization are raised.According to the above logic thinking, the research approach is that:first, summarizing theories of industry structure evolution and leading industry choice summarizing other academics research of home and abroad, combing the main research results and viewpoints of the industrial structure, providing theoretical evidence and reference measures of the industrial structure optimization development and the regularity and adjustment measures of Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone.Second, through the analysis of the status of economic development of Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone, integrating the economic theory, using per capita GDP and industrial structure, finding that Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone is in the mid-late stage of the industrialization. Then using the industrial structure change value index and industrial structure entropy method, through the analysis of the industrial structure evolution process from 1997 to 2009,finding that changes of three industry structure can be divided into three small stage:low-speed growth from 1997 to 1999, slow growth from 2000 to 2002, rapid growth from 2003 to 2009.Using structure similarity coefficient, finding industrial structure gap between Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone and other regionals through the vertical and horizontal comparison of the other parts of Jiangsu province. Using the SWOT analysis, through the present situation analysis of Wujin High-tech Industrial Zone, finding problems of industry structure and three industry, raising the industrial structure adjustment and optimization principle, countermeasures and measures, drawing the conclusion.
