Urban land is urban land market information to the core indicators that can sensitively reflect the supply and demand of land. Particularly in the regulation of urban land use, optimize the allocation of land resources has become increasingly evident role. As land users and managers to understand and grasp the spatial structure of urban land and its distribution, to promote and deepen the reform of land-use system, regulate land assets, to optimize the rational allocation of land resources and scientific management of urban land.In this paper, GIS technology and the method of combining geostatistics, Kriging method, the main city of Lanzhou City, three different uses of land for the study. Through the combination of GIS and geostatistics methods, revealing the main city of Lanzhou spatial distribution of land, land use structure to optimize the Lanzhou City, control the land market and to keep the city provide the basis for sustainable development.The results show that:(1) through Arcgis9.2 software modules to exploratory statistical analysis of the results for land price: residential land prices in downtown Lanzhou was normal, commercial, industrial land prices have been converted by Log showing a normal distribution basically.Residential, commercial and industrial land price in the northeast - southwest and northwest - southeast kept trend of the second order, and the spatial distribution of land price were strong spatial autocorrelation.(2) Using Surfer8.0 software generated 3D map, contour map and land premium vector graphics. They reflect the characteristics of different types of land uses of the main city of Lanzhou City, intuitively. The results showed that: a residential land price change of structure of a multi-center concentric circles outward decay, the land price has a very strong spatial correlation. Although the contours of commercial land is not rounded, the main trend is still around the city center to the surrounding commercial divergence, and the general diffusion model of urban commercial land price match; Industrial land prices are based on attenuation of a single center of concentric circles outward.(3)Using two different types of land price profile showed the space features in Lanzhou city. The trend of land price starting from the center point premium to the edge of the city is lower, but in different directions show different characteristics. The point of departure from the border land to urban centers is normal distribution.
