As a traditional manufacture industry, injection molding gives people the first impressions are: Labor intensive, noisy working circumstance and low value-added production. China has become one of the biggest plastics parts producers in the world while too many companies are focusing on low level production. Packaging injection molding is one of the fast growing markets in China but most of the companies in this field is producing in traditional way. With the labor cost keep increasing in the past few years, more and more producer realized applying new technology in their production will benefit to the companies. Multi-cavity mold, high speed injection and automotive assembly line make the production of packaging part become more effective, higher quality and lower cost.This thesis analyzed the production characters of the packaging part. Taking example of trigger sprayer production by company A, we engage Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) in tooling Vendor selection. It gives a scientific method to choose the right candidate for manufacturing high quality molds. Activity Based costing (ABC) reflects the actual costing from difference batches production. This new costing accounting method helps to provide the in-time information for product pricing. Through deep review on the production activities, we pin point the method to optimize the costing.The research solves actual issues during project development and production of company A, also give the reference to the similar enterprices.
