Author build up cost estimation model individually for Stamping, Plating, Moulding and Assembly base on PCE method. And made a detail expounding about how it works of material, direct labour, production and packaging in each model.According to the company actual situation, Author builds up a guiding standard flow chart of cost estimation model. Considering Cost estimation is a daily work of company, author suggests using Excel tool to run these cost estimation model. This Model can be helpful on reducing the calculation, standardizing the method of cost estimation of company. It is also convenient for designer to do cost optimization by inputting different parameter, for buyer to double check the accuracy of supplier quotation. Also the model can provide helpful reference to help company deciding producing internally or outsourcing.
