Time standard management is one of the most important basis management of the business, is one of the main foundation for the business to draw up the production plans, inventory plans, procurement plans and the wages, but also an important technical basis of improving worker productivity and performance evaluation.In view of China has become the number one large country both automotive production and sales, the corporate structure and level of technological innovation are faced with further optimization of the pressure. With the growing of auto industry competitive pressure and the increase in raw material and labor costs, so that the time standard work is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we will take the rear production line of the BC company's welding shop as an example of a time quota. Currently, BC auto companies production of 10 million units, the rear production line cycle time of 360s, the level of production is far behind the other domestic auto companies, the main production mode of production by hand, although the quality and brand loyalty in the internationally renowned. However, low productivity in the country as has been imported models bear squeeze, until the first time in 2010 profit, in order to improve production and increase market share, fixed working hours of the enterprise is imminent.This paper uses the stopwatch time and MTM-UAS (Method Time Measure - Universal Analyzing System) integrated to research the standard working hours. This method can eliminate the use of a stopwatch study by a simple sequence of operations resulting from the effects of fluctuations, can be used alone to avoid MTM-UAS analysis of a large quantity of defects, the analysis of the results more in line with the actual production for enterprises to develop standard operating guide. At the same time this also used for analysis of the operator's operational processes to optimize operational processes, the use of 5W1H and ECRS other ways to optimize the program. Do the production line balancing analysis and single operating analysis of the improved rear production line. Results are: the rear production line to reduce cycle time from 360s to 300s, production line balancing rate rose from 83.18% to 98.89%, a single rear production lines to reduce working hours from 253.30min to 213.43min, reduced 15.74%. Also found that when the operator proficiency and standards of work, with the MTM-UAS results of the analysis method for the determination of the results close to the stopwatch.
