Nowadays, Because of the lack of natural resources and environment problems appeared increasingly, green architectures are more and more concerned in construction filed. The core idea of green architecture is save, environmental protection and harmony. This green concept of green architecture can be applied in the whole construction process, including planning, design, construction, procurement and installation, etc. In traditional contract mode, each phase of the project is subcontracted each contractor. If the scale of the project is relatively large, it brings great inconvenience for owner management. However, the characteristic of EPC model is that which gathers the design, construction and purchase as a whole. The general contractor plays an important role in the process of building green EPC project. So, owner should pick out general contractor strong enough in the process of bidding.This paper closely around the theme that choosing general contractor for EPC project, based on the summarizing and analyzing the index and methods of the selection of EPC projects in domestic and foreign, seeping green concept into the whole selection process of general contractor. The selection of general contractor is including the pre-qualification phase and the evaluation phase. This paper systematically analyzed the index and model of the pre-qualification phase and the evaluation phase, based on green concept.Researches show that the analysis of pre-qualification phase of EPC projects including five aspects, engineering experience and performance, the reputation of general contractor, financing and financial status, engineering and technical ability and the comprehensive management. The analysis of bid evaluation stage including four aspects, design scheme, construction scheme, purchasing plan and management measures. It is needed to choose appropriate elements which can be used to measure the ability of general contractor in pre-qualification stage, in order to seeping green concept into the process of pre-qualification and evaluating bid phase. To ensure the rationality of these indicators, this paper adopts questionnaire, analyzing the important level of these factors relative to the index. At last, get the final index system through the investigation and analysis of the data of the mean and variance.This paper have established the prequalification phase evaluation model using Entropy and AHP, and established bid evaluation model. Entropy- AHP model focus mainly on the determination of index weight of pre-qualification stage. Index weight is more objective if use Entropy, is more subjective if use AHP. However index weight is more scientific if use Entropy- AHP. Fuzzy and analytic Hierarchy evaluate bid evaluation indexes comprehensively, confirm the final general contractor through comparing the general contractor scores.This paper plays an important reference value in promoting the green concept on EPC projects. Meanwhile, making EPC contract mode gets more extensive application in our country.
