Study On Optimization And Evaluation Of Regional Industrial Structure

According to the theory of developmental economics and the actual situation in developed countries, a country's economic strength comes from the optimization and upgrading of economic structure ultimately, which takes the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure as the core content. As the largest developing country in the world nowadays, since the reform and opening up, the national economy of China has been developing rapidly and has achieved great achievements. Though the current industry structure has been adjusted based on the growth of economics, the situation is not satisfactory because of uncoordinated between economic growth and industrial structure. Therefore, accelerating the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure is the key for China's economic development.The key point of optimizing the industrial structure is to study the regional industrial structure optimization and upgrading the industrial structure according to the characteristic of each region. Considering the importance of the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure, this paper mainly analyses the theory of the regional industrial structure optimization and then proposes the path of the specific regional industrial structure upgrading. Finally, this paper establishes an evaluation system of the regional industrial structure according to the index of industrial structure, and then evaluates it with the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method. During this progress, this paper uses AHP,expert consultation method and grey system theory to evaluate the regional industrial structure.Finally, the paper uses all the theories of the regional industrial structure and the evaluation methods to "the third of China's economic growth pole" New Binhai District,which locates in the Bohai Sea to do empirical research. Firstly, it introduces the basic profiles and operations of the economy situation of New Binhai District. Secondly, it builds the evaluation index system of industrial structure and use multi-level of the gray theory to evaluate them. Finally, it analyses the evaluation results and raises the current problems which impede the development of New Binhai District as well as proposed a series of policy recommendations.
