Study Of Key Factors Affecting Implementation Of Engineering Project Management Systems

As an important part of building enterprise informatization, the engineering project management systems in the construction industry have been a number of applications. However, the study about key factors affecting engineering project management systems in the implementation was relatively short. The thesis uses the way of questionnaire survey to study engineering project management systems developed by Research Institute of Project Administration and Management of Huazhong university of science and technology, and these systems are applied in infrastructure construction project in Wuhan. The thesis surveys senior managers of implementers, and uses statistics to analyze data to find out key factors that influence implementation of engineering project management systems. The study is to provide guidance for building enterprises and help them implement engineering project management systems successfully.The thesis selected 44 variables that affect implementation of engineering project management systems by reading, and optimized these variables by CVR theory, and then massive questionnaire survey was conducted. Based on average, factor analysis etc., the thesis had answered beginning three questions of introduction, and got former five variables affecting implementation of engineering project management systems.The thesis summarized importance of 13 key factors that affect implementation of engineering project management systems; at the same time, the thesis analysed key factors of different kinds of enterprises, and contrasted these factors; finally, the thesis built up a model affecting engineering project management systems.After answering 3 questions, the thesis analysed solving measures of 13 key factors in order to improve implementation of engineering project management systems. It is trusted that the thesis will help the owner and the construction units, supervision unit etc. implement engineering project management systems successfully.
