Based on the analysis of status quo of Wood-Based Panel (WBP) industry with the theory of Green Supply Chain (GSC), the construction and assessment of WBP-GSC is studied in this paper. The main research contents below:Firstly, according to the GSC theory, GSC assessment and the forest product supply chain, We find that, currently, the theoretic research on GSC is deepening and GSC application is expanding both home and abroad, but the related research on GSC management concerns with human's life is still at its first stage.Secondly, a detailed elaboration of concept and architecture of GSC is also given in this paper. Based on traditional conceptual supply chain model combined with GSC theory and characteristic of WBP industry, we constructed a conceptual model for WBP-GSC.Thirdly, the driven factor of GSC management implementation was explored and the status quo of WBP industry with its existing problems was analyzed. And according to the design principle of GSC with status quo of WBP industry, we give the purpose and design principle of WBP-GSC. We propose that a modeling methodology should be used to guide the WBP enterprise to effectively implement GSC management. Based on IDEF we give a relational model of WBP-GSC. An operational model for construction of GSC in WBP enterprise on the basis of traditional SCOR model and a model for evaluate green level of WBP-GSC by using fuzzy AHP are also given in this paper. Then, IDEF model for WBP-GSC construction is given.Fourthly, an operational process model for WBP-GSC is constructed and categorized into five parts--green planning, green procurement, green manufacture, green payment and reverse logistics. Together with characteristic of WBP industry, the five aspects are carefully studied and analyzed in process. And then, after the explaination of the green level in WBP-GSC, the green level evaluation system is designed according to the SCOR model.Finally, with the scientific process of data collected from investigation of Hunan Changyuan WBP co.ltd, a fuzzy-AHP based model is utilized to give an evaluation of its green level.
