Lean Logistics Management Plan Design In ZF Fawer Chassis Technology Company

ZF Fawer chassis company is a new founded joint venture, because of various reasons, the logistics management level is quite low. Lean logistics is one kind of logistics management methodology, which is developed from Toyota Automobile Company, Lean logistics is the implementation of Lean management in the logistics field , the core is to remove all waste via continuously developing and implementing a serial of Lean management tools and methods. To support the company development and improve the competitive capacity, we need implement Lean logistics methodology and tools. This article is to introduce and summarize the lean logistics implemented plan. This article is divided into four chapters according to the different logistics functionsThe first chapter, describes the logistic management status of ZF Fawer company and analyze the reasons from the aspect of history reason, management and people.The second chapter, introduces Lean logistics concept, the implement steps of lean logistics and the great meaning to ZF Fawer company.The third chapter, studies the Lean ordering and scheduling, including the methodology and tools of material ordering and production scheduling, besides, also introduces the standard working of ordering and scheduling.The forth chapter, focus on warehouse and on site logistics related methodology and implement plan, including Lean warehouse layout design, warehouse visualization management, warehouse receiving, delivery and storage Lean management and the packaging management and cost control, which covers each aspect of warehouse and on site logistics operation.The fifth chapter, based on the special company situation, studies the logistics transport and transport cost control and provide the suitable implement plan., including Milkrun transport and VMI(Vendor Management Inventory) and the airfreight control method.Overall, the logistics Lean management of ZF Fawer company is related to all aspects of logistics working, the tasks are heavy, but the benefit out of the implementation is also huge, it should attract the attention of whole company to guarantee the successful implementation.
