Employment Status Of Rural Landless Women

As China's urbanization and industrialization accelerate the pace of rural collective land, especially per-urban farmers of a large number of land has been taken, resulting in a large number of landless peasants. As landless peasants in vulnerable groups-landless women, who clearly recognize the one-time payment of land compensation can only solve the temporary relief, it is imperative to solve the employment problem. Landless women to achieve full employment is building a moderately prosperous society in practical action, is the healthy development of urbanization and the construction of a harmonious society.In this study, using questionnaires and interview method, the research about landless women's employment status, research results show that X village the employment situation of landless women show the following features:the first point is the labor supply and demand contradiction; The second point is employment quality is poor, has been achieved in the women's groups lost jobs, the employment structure of a single, nearly 40% of women employment income is lost is lower than the local minimum wage standard, meanwhile has nearly four into is not sign labor contract; the third point is the number of self-employed risk is bigger.The employment of rural landless women main influence factors embodied in four aspects:the first point is the own quality structure of rural landless women, which is the direct reason; the second point is the development of township enterprises which reduced the employment opportunities for landless women, and the labor market's standard led to the stability of the rural landless women employment; the third point is cultural factors which makes the landless women employment appearing dilemma; the fouth point is the government's employment services and management job isn't very perfect, this increased directly landless women's employment pressure.By contradiction between women's employment in rural areas of lost, I believe that through the government, society and the joint efforts of three individuals to help landless women to improve the current employment situation. First, Social parties work together to help landless women changing employment concepts; Second, increasing social participation, setting up professional organizations in order to promoting the employment of landless women and carrying out targeted training to improving skills of landless women.Again, intensify policy support, development of relevant policies and measures to protect the right of landless women's employment equity; Give policy guidance to help achieve sustainable development of township enterprises, the development of new positions to enhance their ability to absorb the lost employment of women; Enlarge financial investment, meet the business development needs actively; Secondly, increasing the government's regulatory efforts, improving government regulation of business development and the functions of government regulation of business and employment discrimination functions.
