Study On The Sustainable Utilization Of Land Resource In Jixian County

Land, as the basic resource and environment condition of human's living and development, is the most precious wealth. However, the problem that develops continuously of land use has always been the key to economic and social development and also been a major focus of sustainable development research. Since entering 21 centuries, the sustainable land-use has gained more and more attention and been placed as one of the basic national policies by Chinese government.The situation of land resource of Jixian county had changed a lot from 2000 to 2008. With an increasing complexity of land-use structure and an under-going of new-round general land use planning, it becomes significant to analyze the sustainable land-use of Jixian county.The present study had quantitatively analyzed the current situation of land resource of Jixian county and built an evaluation index system, which was suitable for local reality of Jixian county. To provide scientific evidence for sustainable use of land resources in Jixian county and promote the sustainable development of social and economy, a series of land-use strategy were proposed through an analysis of multiple patterns of regional land-use.There're 8 chapters in this paper.In Chap.l, the background and significance of the study was discussed. The researches both at home and abroad were reviewed and the research contents and methods were also given in this section.In Chap.2 introduced sustainable utilization of land resources and evaluation theory.In Chap.3, there's an overview of regional physical geography and socio-economic.In Chap.4, it's an analysis for current situation of land resources of Ji xian county from different aspects such as current land-use, the land-use rate, characters and problems of land use and the dynamic changes of land-use.In Chap.5, based on theory of sustainable utilization, an evaluation of the status of sustainable land-use in Jixian county during 2000 to 2008 was carried out with a comprehensive method. An evaluation index system of sustainable land-use of Jixian county, which included land-use productivity, stability, protectiveness, economic feasibility and social acceptability, was built by The Specialists Inquired Method (SIM) according to existing achievements. The evaluation results indicated that the county got a reasonable land structure and the sustainable level of land-use was improved and was in the basic stage of sustainable use.In Chap.6, a sustainable land-use pattern, suitable for local reality, was proposed by analyzing 5 different patterns of agriculture, industrial, urban, nature reserve, forest and tourism.In Chap.7, a series of sustainable land-use policy were concluded.In Chap.8 summarized the main conclusions and put forward the defects of the present study.
