Research On Innovative City Construction In SuZhou

As social and economic progress, innovation increasingly becomes the internal driving force and a decisive factor of urban economic development. Innovative city has gradually becomes a new urban development concept and model. In recent years, with the context of building an innovative nation, many cities have put the city's goal of building an innovative and active in building innovation-oriented city. But building an innovation-oriented city is a very complex social system project, it requires a scientific basis and the guidance of theory. Therefore, as China's practice of building innovative city in deep, it is practical urgent and long term significant to explore the theoretical framework and strategic approach of innovative city with Chinese characteristics.In this paper, with the systematic summary of the theory research and practice at home and abroad, the theoretical and empirical research carried out systematically based on the construction of innovative city of Suzhou. The first part of the paper reviews and summarizes the innovative research at home and abroad. The second part describes the construction of innovative city theory and the relationship between urban development and the systematic construction of innovative city. The third and fourth parts are mainly the empirical parts of the paper, and by building innovative evaluation index system and using the entropy method, researching innovative city construction in Suzhou.
