Study On Excellence Performance Evaluation For Manufacturing Enterprises Based On Enterprise Characteristic Type

Manufacture enterprises plays an important role in the industrialization process. From the data of main developed countries, the manufacture enterprises increase had taken more than one third of GDP. As a huge manufacture country, China develops quickly after the open-up, at the same time, many problems appears. In order to guide the development of the manufacture enterprises, it is a necessity to appraise manufacture enterprises properly, so as to find the problems of the enterprises during the development.After the successful appliance of Baldrige quality award in reviving American economy and promoting national competence, the criterion gradually expand to developed countries and regions and evolve into a performance excellence mode. By far, performance excellence mode is becoming an international criterion. More than 60 countries and regions have experienced performance excellence. This mode is widely used in enterprises, institutions, hospitals and universities.Based on the analysis and summary of the research on manufacture enterprise performance appraise and the application of excellence performance, this dissertation puts forward an opinion that, besides financial and non-financial indexes, result and process indexes, the characteristics of the enterprise should also be considered. This dissertation combines excellence performance evaluation criteria with enterprise features, and builds the weight and business-related manufacturing enterprise performance evaluation system.In this thesis, manufacture enterprises are divided into different kinds according to their characteristics. The methods to identify the category of the enterprises are provided. Based on the identification, the performance evaluation index system is constructed. Guangyu Corporation is taken as a demonstration of the evaluation index system, suggestions for Guangyu Corporation are proposed.
