The "people-oriented" Concept In Gansu Province Urbanization Construction Under The New Research

Gansu Province is a less-developed area where there is a lower level of urbanization in different regions and faced with the major challenges of how to speed up the urbanization and modernization .As for urbanization, which is analyzed by most of the materials in terms of economic growth, and of which the research results are studied on a basis of ways of economic growth. This kind of economic growth and social development as the main building of model development will cause lack of coordination and other issues. In this paper, the"people-oriented" idea from Marxist classical works will be the leading idea, which is used to explain constructing concepts for economics, culture, ecology of Gansu urbanization. Further to facilitate the new economic cities and towns, culture-based towns, the new eco-town harmony and hence to carry forward the construction of new urbanization to a full development for all citizens.The thesis is divided into six parts. Section one is a preface;section two is the first chapter, which is an overview for urbanization concept and people-oriented idea from Marxist classical works; Section three is chapter two, providing the theory basis for the combination of people-oriented idea and urbanization of Gansu province; Section four is chapter three, mainly elaborating the overall analysis of current status of urbanization of Gansu province ,therefore forms a comparison with other areas in Gansu province. Through the establishment of a comprehensive measure of the level of urbanization index system, there is a detailed analysis for urbanization of every city and town. This brings a qualitative and quantitative understanding of urbanization of cities from different levels. Section five is the forth chapter, which is a series of constructive advice for the new economic cities and towns in Gansu, culture-based towns, the new eco-towns according to the discussion of an integratation of practical issues and theories. Section six is conclusive judgment for new economic cities and towns in Gansu, culture-based towns, the new eco-towns, which should be built in harmony and based on people-oriented, hence to realize the comprehensive development. ?...
