Due to appearance of "The labor shortage" in last 2 year, high attrition rates on direct labor affect normal production and operating activities in manufaturing industry. China has moved from "abundant labor" to "limited surplus". At present, so many companies are in urgent need to consider how to improve performance appraisal system in order to enhance employees' satisfaction and to stable production team.In this paper, according to extensive research of theory and development of performance appraisal system, model Company R is studied to strategically analyze their performance appraisal system by means of research, statistical analysis, comparative study and combination of quantitative and qualitative test. The purpose of the studay is to find defects in their performance appraisal system in order to put forward solutions on system defects. These solutions would help Company R to establish performance appraisal system much more scientific and systematic with clearer appraisal relationship. In practice, performance appraisal systeam works more efficiently after development to significantly enhance corporate strategy.Through analysis and practice, the writer of paper is looking forward to providing reference and solutions to companies need establish performance appraisal system.
