Technical Barriers To Trade On China's Electronic Information Products Export And Countermeasures Research

In recent years, more and more countries accept the global trade liberalization and economic integration, but it does not mean that the trade protectionism is disappearing. The fact is that the tariff barriers gradually weakened, however the influence from non-tariff barriers is getting more powerful on the role of the international trade. There are four main characteristics in technical barriers, such as legality, hidden, flexibility and complexity. Technical barriers are the major barrier that used to choose by most of countries in the trade protectionism level. China's foreign trade is developing rapidly. On the other hand, more impacts that are serious are from the technical barriers, especially the electronic information industry.In this paper, there are three main steps to analyze this predicament. The first step is that through the basic of the TBT system study. It can be seen clearly that the technical barriers' meaning, form, main characteristics, causes. The second step is through the theoretical analysis to discover the function of technical barriers, the different economic effects between small and large countries and so on. It also analyzes the Chinese electronic information enterprises that suffer the technical barriers from EU, USA and Japan. On the other hand, the technical barriers' causes and effects will be analyzed in this paper. The final step is using the government level, Industry association and the other aspects' force to find the way to deal with the technical barriers' problem. In other words, this analysis can be used to highlight the way to develop the Chinese electronic information product exporters.
