Study On The Cultivated Land Protection Of Taojing Based On Principal Component Analysis

The cultivated land is the core of the food security and the cultivated land protection has become the key issue on china's social and economic sustainable development. China with the per-capita arableland little, untouched arableland little, good quality arableland little of the basic formula has not changed. In recent years, china's cultivated land, in both the quantity, quality and the ecological environment is deteriorating,which is a serious threat to china's food security.'With the population and economic development, theituation of cultivated land protection will become increasingly serious. This paper studies to raise awareness and provide a reasonable basis for decision-making on cultivated land protection.This paper system analyzes the dynamic changes in quantity, quality and the ecological environment of cultivated land in Taojiang County from the1997 to the 2005. As a basis for the 2005, in combination with the reality of cultivated land utilization in Yiyang city, from three aspects of quantity, quality and the ecological environment, with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method, this paper comprehensive appraise the cultivated land protection in all counties in Yiyang City,the result shows taojiang rank second.Then, with the combination of GIS,this paper comprehensive appraise the cultivated land protection in all villages and towns of Taojiang County, and comes to the space difference in Tajiang County. There are such exiting problems as unawareness of the cultivated land protection; the situation is grim for the quantity protection; the land consolidation and rehabilitation is lack of funds; peopele neglect the ecological environment protection. And the relevant measures proposed, such as to strengthen cultivated land protection consciousness, to improve cultivated land protection systems, to raise cultivated land capability and to establish technical support system for cultivated land protection and so on...
