Dalian, on the southeast coast of Liaodong peninsular in northeast China featured with significant Geographic advantage is now developing as the marine gateway of northeast China, with revitalizing northeast old industrial bases in Northeast China will make Dalian as northeast centre in East Asia. Together rapid growth of inland marine ports of Yingkou, Jinzhou and Dandong, as strategic cooperation agreed, Dalian as gateway is designed as transportation and logistics centre for across north east China and East Asia connecting the world. Dalian Container shipping industry will take advantage of this national strategy and push forward. As China Shipping Container Lines in north east China, will gain new opportunities, but in meanwhile meets new challenge brought by more completive market. More specified of market, better products, reasonable pricing and local suited sales policy will make China shipping more competitive to triumph among competitors and increase our market share.The thesis is composed with three main parts. The first part introduces Brief introduction of CSCL. The second part is company internal and external running analysis and strategic market positioning. The third part is setting up marketing strategy.
