| The State Council of China decided to accelerate triple play in 2010. It had published two triple play lists of pilot cities in 2010 January and 2011 December. Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Nantong and Taizhou of Jiangsu province are in the lists. Triple play will promote the information and cultural industry development in Jiangsu and form the new economic point of growth. It plays an important role in stimulating of electronic information industry upgrading and promoting strategic transformation of Jiangsu economy. So it is meaningful to grasp the present situation of Jiangsu's triple play industry, construct the industry chain and put forward development strategies of it.With the support from the item of Jiangsu economic and information technology commission, this paper has considered triple play industry of Jiangsu as the research object. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the experience of development and current situation both in home and abroad, referencing to a large number of literature, it has investigated the present situation of Jiangsu triple play industry, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages and then constructed the industry chain. It has also explored development strategy for the triple play industry by empirical calculating.The main research contents as follows: (1) Do deep research on the concept of triple play and analysis of the foreign development experience and domestic latest progress; (2) Grasp the situation of triple play industry by investigating. The industry chain is comprehensive, electronic information industry is of great advantages, R & D capability is weak; (3) Construct the industry chain of triple play, Jiangsu southen area is powerful and the norhen is weak; (4) Determine that telecom operators and cable operators are the strategic link of the industry chain as well as quality of service is the main influencing factor by empirical calculating; (5) Give suggestions such as developing telecommunication industry and R&T cause; improving service quality.To put enterprises in Jiangsu as samples, this paper has applied the methods such as accessing to statistical data, questionnaire survey and depth interview to acquire the information and data, and though the methods such as Grey incidence Analysis, Factor Analysis, it has construct model and calculated. Based on these, it has explored development strategy for the triple play industry. |
