Reseacrh On Spontaneous Combustion Prediction In Gob Of Caving Workface For Chenjiagou Mine

Chen Jiagou is a coal mine with low gas-containing and is liable to spontaneouscombustion.The No.5coal seam of the Chen Jiagou coal zone is very easy to spontaneouscombustion.The spontaneous combustion time is short. And there is so much particle coal ingob by using fully-mechanized technology in this coal seam that it is bad for high efficiencyand safety mining.Aiming at the basic mining circumstance of the3103work face in Chen Jiagou mine,According to the characters of fully mechanized gob,Firstly,the experiments simulated coalspontaneous combustion by the experiment station of coal spontaneous combustion is used toquantificational calculated characteristic parameters and give the determination targets whichreflect the degree of the No.5coal seam spontaneous combustion.Based on aboveexperiments,it set an index system of forecasting the spontaneous combustion ofcoal.Second,by observation and analysis of combusting plot in Chen Jiagou coal mine3103fully mechanized caving face goaf,it got the thickness of float coal and distribution rules of theoxygen and methane in the two sides of intake air and return air.Thirdly,it established physicaland mathematical models of the flow and concentration field with definite conditions.Next,byusing Fluent software to do numerical simulation on the air leakage condition in the3103fullymechanized caving face goaf and as a result,the distribution rules of oxygen concentration andflow velocity were drew out in the fully mechanized caving face goaf.Then,based onnumerical simulation results and observation data on spot,it divided the mined-out goafinto“three zones”and set down the basic distribution law of the“three zones”,the risk part ofthe spontaneous combustion in mined-out goaf.
