The No.2 coal seam of the Lingwu coal zone is very easy to spontaneous combustion. The spontaneous combustion time is short. Carbon monoxide gas in working face is massive ultra limits frequently. And there is so much particle coal in gob by using fully-mechanized technology in this coal seam that it is bad for high efficiency and safety mining.According to the characters of fully mechanized gob, Firstly, the experiments simulated coal spontaneous combustion by the XK-III experiment station of coal spontaneous combustion is used to quantificational calculated characteristic parameters and give the determination targets which reflect the degree of the No.2 coal seam spontaneous combustion. Secondly, the paper analysis the factors which influence carbon monoxide gas in working face, the grey model of influencing factors is established by grey system theory. The paper has analyzed the mainly source of carbon monoxide gas in working face and given mathematics model of carbon monoxide gas quantification. Thirdly, basing on the experiment, locale practice and academic calculation, this paper has mark off the distribution charts of oxygen concentration & coal ply & air leak intensity, and danger zero chart of coal spontaneous combustion in gob and calculated the limited mining velocity of working face. This paper has established mathematical model of coal spontaneous combustion in gob and forecast it by MATLAB, its results are identical with that of factual observation. Finally, the paper confirmed the results of forecast and research is practical by industrial experiment.The determinant and prognosticate results which are disposed with resemble simulation can be applied in other similar gob and guide preventing and putting out a fire.
