The gas disaster of coal mines is the first accident of safety in production of coal minesamong "natural disasters", If not properly managed, the serious accident would be caused.With the development of the mining industry, the level of mechanization is beingimproved, but the gas accidents are followed at the amazing rates,the safety of production ofcoal mines is consequently threatened.The losses caused the accidents areby extremely serious. Therefore, effective prevention and treatment of gas accidents play asignificant role in the safe production of coal mines.Given the importance of gas in gob, goaf gas in gob would be the research object in thispaper, systematic exposition of the goaf gas occurrence and hazards. Based on Domestic andforeign coal mine safety management theory and Early Warning System Research, thenecessities and problems of early warning systems will be outlined. With the help of thenumerical simulation of Fluent, gas migration law would be obtained in the gob.This paperIdentifies that upper corner is the key position of the gas warning. By combining of twoprediction models, and set prediction, the integrated safety warning system would be realizedwith functions of set forecasting and management. The paper aims to provide a newmanagement model for safety management of coal mine gas, specifically transferring thepost-management to "pre-control", by doing this; the accidents will be avoided in Nipped inthe bud, to ensure the normal safe production of coal mine.In this thesis, the main researching results:(1) Through the analysis of situation of the gas bearing of the gob, the Fluent canstimulate the change of gas concentration can thereby obtaining the moving patterns of gas inthe gob, providing the theoretical basis of afterward system construction.(2) Examine two typical forecasting models: the time series forecasting and grayprediction model, which will be completed by Matlab software code. (3) Based on the analysis of two typical forecasting models. VB–Matlab hybridprogramming system finish the calculation module; VB software initially builds up the earlywarning system and realizes system development.In a case of a1057integrated working surface of mining company,the Test would beconducted,which is regarded that the system has completed the purpose of gas hazardmonitoring and early warning, at the same time, integrated system is proposed,which meet thenational requirements for the safety of mining in terms of design theory, versatility, andprofessional applications. Meanwhile, the function of the man-machine coordination will berealized in terms of software functions and user interface.
