It is an important means to prevent gas explosion accidents in the use of the hazard risk assessment, which is also the premise of safe management and in the control of the gas explosion hazard in heading face of coal mine.The paper studied dynamics and development trends of the risk assessment at home and abroad, based on the analysis of severity caused by the gas explosion hazard in mine heading face, the author proposed the realistic meaning of the hazard assessment of gas explosion accidents in heading face of Guandi coal mine. Further more, the author stated the contents of the study and the research route.The paper researched the general procedures and the commonly method of the coal mine risk assessment. Combining with the characteristics of production system in heading face of coal mine, the fault tree analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation assessment method of gas explosion accidents hazard were selected for coal mine heading face, which unified qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of the risk assessment.The identification theory, basis and method of coal mine hazard sources were applied in the paper, with the reference of experts’ experience by the use of fault tree analysis, the author analyzed the types and the degree of importance of gas explosion hazard, and also the three key types of hazard influence indicators were put forward more systematically. Moreover, the paper established the risk assessment index system on hazard in heading face of coal mineAt the end of the paper, the author used the theories and methods of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, according to the actual situation in28410heading face of Guandi coal mine, the risk assessment system was established. By using the safety check-list, expert investigation method, the analytic hierarchy process and other analysis methods, the index weights were quantified. What’s more, combined with the analytic hierarchy process method theory, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of gas explosion accidents hazard was established for heading face of coal mine. A software system of the gas explosion hazard based on Qt was developed in coal mine heading face, which was applied in28410heading face of Guandi coal mine, and the final results of the risk assessment was calculated by computer software system successfully. The result under "security, safer, and general safety, the more dangerous, very dangerous" were "0.28959,0.5922,0.10127,0.00818,0.00818" respectively in28410heading face of Guandi coal mine. According to the principle of maximum membership degree, compared to the review sets, the evaluation result achieved a safer level. And then the evaluation method of rating parameters to optimize the evaluation results was applied and the evaluation result was81.01points, which showed the evaluation result is also a safer level. The two methods verified the correctness and consistency of the evaluation result. In the paper, the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis risk assessment method was used, compared with the simple qualitative evaluation method, the former is more comprehensive, objective and scientific, and thus can provide a reasonable basis for the gas safety management in heading face of coal mine.
