The coiler is one of the highest load rate mechanical equipments of the hot strip rolling set.The quality of the coiler and the coiling process influenced the yield of the hot continuous rollingline and the quality of the rolling steer directly.In this article,we take the main underground hotstrip coiler of WISCO as the research object.Analysis the lash of the equipment when producingthe wide-heavy strip.Calculating the stress state of the coiler wrapper roll arm.Proposing animprove case of production.The main contents of this article include:(1) Through the wrapper roll arm mechanical model of stress state when coiling,establishthe wrapper roll arm’s mechanics model.Finding the maximum stress position and the stress ofthe key points by force formulas.(2) Establish the wrapper roll arm’s three-dimensional entity model,using the stressanalysis results to exert rational boundary conditions,the load,and the finite elementanalysis.Comparative simulation results and the measurement point’s actual value to fix thefinite element model.(3) Through the results of the finite element analysis to research the characteristics ofstress,the law of the change of the stress and the stress of the key points of the wrapper rollarm,then do the strength check.(4) Using the result of strength check and the stress data which is measured from theyielding,propose the improvement suggestions of the wrapper roll arm.
