Currently, influenced by health reform policy and market-orientedeconomy, Chinese pharmaceutical distribution industry is facingtremendous revolution. On the one hand, more and more pharmaceuticaldistribution companies are restructuring and merging; On the other hand,the profit of the industry is transforming from the price difference intoprofitable service based on the logistics and information. Under thissituation, a few large national pharmaceutical distribution magnates cometo establish a national pharmaceutical logistics service network bycontinuously merging. Meanwhile, some local large and medium-sizedenterprises are also establishing perfect, high-level pharmaceuticallogistics systems in some regions through the construction of modernpharmaceutical logistics centers to enhance the standards ofpharmaceutical logistics, in order to increase the market share and controlpharmaceutical terminal.This thesis bases on researching TRL Company’s internal andexternal environment, development forecasting, the target service level,and the logistics situation. On basis of studying company’s strategy, siteselection of modern logistic center, logistics center capabilities andinformation system, the thesis draw a conclusion of the requirementdetails of building a logistics center. Through the study of planning ofTRL Company modern logistics center, managers could find a usefulsolution to improve their logistic-service capabilities, and strengthen thecore competition and increase local market share finally.
